Welcome to Your Community Arts Center!
Main Street Arts is a non-profit arts center dedicated to serving the creative needs of our greater community. We seek to encourage creative expression through a wide range of artistic experiences.
The center is located in the heart of the village of Saxtons River, Vermont and has a large art studio, a kitchen, an upstairs dance and theater space, plus a few small meeting areas. It also is the home of The Jelly Bean Tree, Vermont's oldest crafts cooperative, which displays and sells the work of approximately fifty local craftspeople. Read more about us...
Artist Joanne Russo recently worked with the Monday CAP Afterschool students and taught them to crochet. Using their new skills, they "yarn bombed" the railings on the front porch. What a great welcome to Spring. Thank you Joanne, the Monday CAP students, and volunteers Jill Newton and Susie Peters.
