You Can Help MSA Reach New Creative Heights!

Theater Appeal Picture #2
Theater Appeal

In case you haven’t yet heard, the MSA Board has hired the one and only David Stern (director extraordinaire of Les Miserables 2015 and Pirates of Penzance 2014) as Artistic Director for MSA! His position includes bringing in new theater classes and workshops for all ages as well as holding children and adult theater performances throughout the year. We are building a performing and creative arts program that is at least as lovely and inspiring as our new physical home!

This is a big step forward for MSA and we want to assure David’s success. Here’s how you can help. We have some money in the annual budget for this position, but we’d like to raise an additional $25,000 towards salary so MSA and David are free to try new ideas and programming without worrying about where salary will come from. After this year, David’s salary will become part of the annual budget. We are thinking that the actors, managers, musicians, and others involved in past MSA theater productions can send a powerful message of support by chipping in a respectable gift toward this fundraising goal. Our donations will be a vote for bringing the kind of theatrical quality, heart, and soul that we have seen in recent years to even more actors and audiences, now and for years to come.

So far MSA has 3 pledges totaling $7,000 toward our $25,000 goal. Your gift, no matter the size, will move us closer to our goal and a full year of exciting arts programming. Remember what it meant to you to be on MSA’s stage. Where else can you get that indescribable energy and excitement?!

Theater Appeal Picture #1Please give as generously as you can for MSA, for David, and for future performers and audiences.  We’re hoping to have this appeal wrapped up by September 1.
